It’s been a bit since release, and we’re celebrating: with a new trailer, the official soundtrack, and a new patch! And as you may have noticed, we’ve updated our key artwork to a beautiful new illustration that captures the journey of Death and Pig even better.

New Story Trailer
We’ve put together a brand new trailer that captures the spirit of the game. Think of it as our nod to the amazing theories, interpretations and ideas that you have been sharing about your own journey in Spindle ✍️
The Story Trailer focuses on the central mystery, namely why you have become Death and what brings you to this strange, whimsical world. It combines cosy, inviting scenes with a bunch of the challenges that lie ahead and the secrets that are hidden beneath the surface… (looking at you, swamp creature 👀)

Official Soundtrack Release
As part of today’s news, we’re excited to share something special for your ears! The official soundtrack is now available, featuring around three hours of incredible music that lets you relive your favorite moments from Spindle 🎶
The OST is available at a 15% release discount, the ideal time to enjoy the game’s world in musical form.

This update is packed with all the fixes, tweaks and improvements you’ve been asking for most. Check out the full changelog below for all the details!

• The world map now has a zoom function
• Certain bushes now crumble into stone instead of just leaves when using the Stone Power on them
• Minor Y-Sort issues have been fixed
• Minor graphical adjustments
• Small level architecture adjustments
• A softlock in the swamp has been fixed
• In exit rooms, you can now cancel early by holding down a specific key
• The 4th exit room has been made easier to solve
• The time you need to complete an exit room is now saved and can be viewed on the small sign at the right side of the entry room
• You can now reach all Spiritplants in the After Game (you can also re-enter the old temple ruins through a secret passage, and the plant from the endgame appears at a certain location on the overworld in the After Game)
• The suspension bridge to the snow area is now repaired in the After Game
• You can now obtain Greg’s picture even if you didn’t talk to the new mayor in Mahr beforehand
• All NPCs now have the same, slightly larger, interaction radius so you’re less likely to accidentally dash instead of talking to someone
• Several text errors have been fixed
• More people have been added to the Kickstarter book
• When falling into water, it’s now less likely that you accidentally start fishing afterward
• The pig now gets up earlier when you approach it while it’s sitting
• The reward for finding all Death Coins no longer triggers its effect when using your Odic power bar, but instead when you have full hearts
• Obtaining a new heart container now also cures poisoning
• The number of salamander scales is now shown in the in-game UI when collected, not just in the item menu
• And several smaller bugs have been fixed
