【1.3.2 Patch Update】: New Character "Murmillo" + Skill System Rework

Greetings, warriors! A brand new version of Wretch: Divine Ascent has now been released. The new character « Murmillo » and the Skill System Rework have been implemented. Eastern Game Culture Festival Opens Concurrently

This marks another major update following the February release.

0. New Character

– Gladiator, a sword-and-shield hero, is now available.

– Features the unique mechanic [Legion Stance]: after triggering a Counter Skill, gain a boost for the current combo.

I. Skill System Rework

1. Skill Categories

* All Skills are now divided into three major types: Basic Skills, Core Skills, and Counter Skills.

* Basic Skills: Standard Skills that form the foundation of combos. They can be obtained from the shop at any time, and each character has 3 fixed Basic Skills.

* Core Skills: Powerful skills that represent each style’s core build direction. They have fixed passive traits and can be upgraded from Blue to Purple to Orange.

* Counter Skills: Skills that trigger automatically when specific conditions are met. After triggering, they start a new combo directly from the counter slot.

2. Character Level System

– Character levels now range from 1 to 15. Characters automatically level up when returning to the shop at the end of each round.

– Different levels trigger different events, including offensive Skill acquisition, Counter Skill selection, Skill Rune acquisition, and Emblem acquisition.

3. Skill Runes

– Added dedicated socketable runes for Skills.

II. Item Balance Adjustments

1. Legendary Items

* [Sacrificial Bones]:

* Max Health bonus: 100→80

* Armor bonus: 10→8

* At Low Health, apply Bleed: 12→10

* When the enemy is at Low Health, apply Bleed: 24→20

* [Giant’s Boot]:

* Armor bonus: 25→15

* Armor bonus per connected item: 25x→15x

* [Berserker’s Armor]:

* At Low Health, gain Armor Reinforcement: 40→30

* When connected to armor, gain additional Armor Reinforcement: 25→10x connected armor count

* When connected to armor, Stamina recovery speed bonus: 40%→20%x connected armor count

* When connected to armor, Critical Damage bonus: 25%→15%x connected armor count

* [Bone Breaker]:

* Skill Damage bonus per connected skill: 40%→30%

* Armor ignored per connected skill: 10%→5%

2. Epic Items

* [Master’s Tabi]:

* Stamina bonus: 30→20

* Stamina recovery speed bonus: 50→20

* For every 50 Stamina, gain Damage Reinforcement: 3→2

* For every 50 Stamina, gain Strength Reinforcement: 3→2

* [Reckless Aegis]:

* At Low Health, Skill Damage bonus: 40→50

* At Low Health, Stance Damage bonus: 40→50

3. Common Items

* [Pocket Notes]:

* When connected to a skill, after our side uses moves 7→3 times, this item transforms into Combo Mastery after entering the shop.

* When connected to armor, after our side blocks 7→3 times, this item transforms into Defense Mastery after entering the shop.

* When connected to an accessory, after our side parries 2→1 times, this item transforms into Counter-Attack Mastery after entering the shop.

* [Counter-Attack Mastery]:

* When our side parries, the enemy gains Armor Weakening: 20→10.

III. Super Armor Type Adjustments

– Removed Super Armor from: [Guardian’s Trio], [Triple Heavy Slash], [Cross Cut], [Stone Splitter], [Moonlit Lantern], [Azure Dragon’s Tail], [Slay Evil].

– Removed Anti-Super Armor from: [Spinning Elbow], [Spinning Kick], [Power High Kick], [Whirling Kick Combo], [Army-Breaker’s Twist], [Leg Twist], [Breach], [Siren Tail Sweep], [Whirling Kick].

– Kept Super Armor on: [Head-Wrap Right Slash], [Cross-Cut].

– Kept Anti-Super Armor on: [Mid Roundhouse Kick].
