An option has been added: a switch for High Frame Rate Mode. The game runs by default in Low Frame Rate Mode, which has lower overhead. Enabling this switch can increase the frame rate but will also result in greater CPU and GPU overhead.

And, I should mention it again:

After the update, if some Windows 11 platforms may experience an issue where the black background cannot be removed. This is caused by certain incompatible automatic optimizations in Windows 11. To resolve this,

1) navigate to the Steam installation directory of the game, locate the DreamGlobe.exe file,

2) right-click on it, select Properties → Compatibility → Disable full-screen optimizations. This should allow the game to run properly.
