Teamcrafter : Bi-weekly News #3 – Closed Beta Release Date
Bi-weekly News #3 – Closed Beta Release Date
Dear Craftists,
Our first game, Teamcrafter, is set to be released in Closed Beta on Thursday 11th of December at 5 pm CET on Steam. For this special occasion, a live letter will be held on Twitch on Friday, December 5th at 10 am CET, and people will be able to discover the new content, ask questions, and discuss with the devs.
Trailer video (from the kickstarter campaign):
This Closed beta period is set to last until the Early Access release set for Q3 2026. The beta will be updated with patches, including new adventurers, biomes, gears, stories, resources, and functionalities.
This Closed Beta access is granted to all players who purchased a pack on the Kickstarter. Each player will receive their key via email the week before the event. It is still not too late to buy a key, as late pledges on Kickstarter are still available.
After its successful demo, the team is eager to show the hard work after three months with a lot of new content.
Key Features:
– 11 adventurers to try and more to unlock in the future – Equip your adventurers with the best possible stuff, gather in the different biomes, and then theorycraft which equipment is the best for every adventurer to optimize your run and defeat gigantic monsters, in this JRPG-inspired adventure in a modernized pixel art style.
– 5 biomes with one tier-3 biome, the most dangerous one yet – Unlock new biomes through orbs with our new NPC, Nell, responsible for opening portals to the said biomes. Gather resources, but beware, some biomes are more dangerous than others, and the rewards are proportional to the danger.
– Complete rework on the UI & UX – The first UI was confusing, and was remade for a large part to make it more intuitive for everyone.
– A whole new fishing & cooking system, for more theorycrafting – You can now learn how to fish to gather fish in the different biomes and ask Raymond the cook to create a sumptuous dish for you that will buff you for your next teleportation in a biome.

A rework on the gathering part with a new combo system, new chests, and even new secret rooms – Now, gathering will feel more lively with many new combos to do with the tools, and even now items that you can find, and if you are lucky, you can find the new chests and secret rooms in the biomes.[/p]

Continuation of the main story quest: what’s up with Halice? – During the last update, the story was left on hold, but now you can go further and try to understand what’s going on with Halice.
New summon – Andarta was only the first summon, but a new one just entered the barracks. Achlys will poison her enemies during the fight to help the team.

And more to discover during the closed beta!
Players who tried the demo loved the soothing of the gathering and crafting part, but also all the complexity of the current system. The full version of Teamcrafter will significantly expand upon its core loop and will be improved at each update based on players’ feedback. The Closed beta will receive updates around every 3 months to add even more content for players to test as we get closer to the Early Access release.
Remember! This weekend (November 15th & 16th 2025), we’ll be at Art-to-play to speak with you and present the game, come say hi!
