Sanguine : Sanguine Early Access Patch 1.1.4
Sanguine Early Access Patch 1.1.4

Hello Watchers,
Patch 1.1.4 is now live! This update focuses on combat feel, control polish, and quality-of-life fixes following your feedback since Early Access launched. Let’s dive in:
⚙️ Gameplay Updates
Quick 180° Turn – Reworked & Improved
• The Quick Turn has been fully reworked and now includes a 10-second cooldown.
• A new UI indicator appears while the cooldown is active.
• When timed perfectly, the Quick Turn can now evade enemy grab attempts, adding tactical depth to close encounters.
• This system replaces the old version (which was previously disabled) that occasionally caused bonus speed glitches or allowed players to clip through geometry.
💬 “I’ve heard the feedback about needing a quick turn—totally agree. It just needed balance, and I think we’ve found that sweet spot. I’ll keep an eye on feedback and make further tweaks if needed.”
Documentation & UI Updates
• Updated Controls and Combat in-game documents to include Quick Turn notes.
• Updated Pause Menu control list and Controller Bindings image accordingly.
🧩 General Fixes & Improvements
• Fixed several localization lines that still referenced the demo; they now correctly mention Early Access.
• Added a slow blink effect to the keycard half near the car crash for better visibility.
• Slightly adjusted the keycard’s position to be more noticeable to players.
🕹️ Survivor Stories Updates
• Fixed the unwalkable corner near the Diner’s save shack area.
• Lowered the recycle return value on tools to prevent a potential time loop exploit.
• Updated the Total Clay Pots stat on the results screen to correctly display 24.
🔮 Coming Soon
Here’s a glimpse of what’s on the way in the next update:
• Additional animation polish for knife combat
• Five new achievements for Survivor Stories
• New audio lines for Survivor Stories and Jack’s character quips
• The long-awaited ending cutscene for the Early Access portion
« Audio for the ending is now complete — polishing and implementation are underway! »
