Hi, all!
Thank you so much for the warm feedback in regards to RUBATO! It’s done better than I could have ever imagined!
However, it’s not a perfect game. There are flaws and rough edges. Not everyone is a fan. And, that’s okay. It’s a nice reprieve from everything else that’s a bit too polished and overproduced, right?
But… There are things I do REALLY want to fix! I’m going to die angry at myself for not fixing these things!!
I CAN MAKE RUBATO A BETTER GAME!!
I’m working on a set of updates, with the first hopefully launching in time for the summer sale in June. These are focused on adding major QoL features to the game + reworking some things that have personally bugged me.
• Map System – heavily, heavily requested! I have a version of this working in-game right now!

• Volume Mixing
• Cutscene Skipping (Most of them)
• Exiting subareas sends you to the door instead of the Field Map
• Skip Area 4.5 option after playing the game once
• « CONTINUE? » option for the Area 4.5 act screens, so you don’t have to take it in all at once
• Area 2 cutscene rewrite/rework/redo/remake etc. etc.
• Planet Bit menu mouse support
• Tony calls are made optional + new extra hidden ones are added
I’ll release 2 more major updates after this – the first will add more content and increase the Planet Bit count to 150, whilst the second will add support for localisation! Haven’t got a timeframe for those updates though…
