Patched since Mikey’s inclusion inclusion in the game:
BRAND NEW:
– FANTOME NOW HAS REACTS! THE TRIO NOW MAY HAVE LEFT LITTLE REACTIONS ON EACH OTHER’S MESSAGES! HOW QUAINT!!!!!!
• Fantome also has call logs!
– Mikey has developed a deeper understanding of fashion now!
Over 150 inputs with special responses added to Mikey’s dress up minigame.
– 18 new collectable/easter egg CGs
– 17 new Fantome conversations
-Enhancements to the hallways, added furniture and updated textures.
– Mikey’s route playable and completable from start to end and bug free with immense playtesting to back it up. From chase, to room, to desktop. This includes fixes to the room to improve it from the demo.
– New assets and room design
– Mikey comic and character card
– Updated animation
– New voicelines including voicelines added to previous cutscenes!
– A cardboard cutout of Mikey so you can gaze into his eyes(many many many eyes) and… is that a belly button ring ? >.>
– New graphics in Mikey’s room.
– An updated cutscene animation in Mikey’s room.
– New voicelines and interactability in Mikey’s room. The things you do have meaning.
– All Mikey collectables available.
– MORE Ophelia lines in her chase sequence.
– New emojis added to Fantome
– Animated emojis in Fantome fixed
– A fully rejuvenated opening cutscene for new playthroughs with additional animations and asset updates
– The new cutscene is also viewable on every single new playthrough, not just your first one.
– NEW ANIMATIONS IN THE DESKTOP SEGMENT

– New animations for DPWA! in Anita’s route

– The ending of her room plays out entirely differently to how it did in the demo!
– PUZZLE REFINING
– The solutions have not changed, but the path to understanding them has become easier! we have listened and analyzed player behavior and feedback to make puzzle solving as independent and as satisfying of a venture as it can be. You are smart, we know you are. The satisfaction you will feel at realizing this is what makes it all worth it.

– In general cleaning up some of the « noise » that may have distracted you from your goal
– Speaking of new dialogue:
– CONTEXT GIVEN to the chat apps on your first run
– Thousands of lines of dialogue added across all routes.
– 2350 lines in Fantome
– 1000 lines in Grapeline
– Then the many many other ways you can access written content in oneway.exe’s desktop.
– MORE CAT PICS! EVEN MORE CAT PICS!
– Consistency across playthroughs!
– Collect and permanently alter the desktop YOUR way through playing through our different loops.
– What you decide to do, the order you do it in, the things you don’t do… it leaves a lasting mark on your desktop. No two playthroughs have to look the same. What will you be collecting?
– File Browser now has previews for all images!
– Shortcut/file dragging should no longer have the chance of making a shortcut get stuck on the desktop
– Window sorting improvements, making a focused window come to the fromt of the stack.
– Audio pass, with some volume fixes
– Settings pass, hitboxes should be improved as well as a new « TIPS » tab and improved wording for the autosaves/new game button.
– Fixed double clicks and right click interactions to make them more consistent.
– Speed and camera adjustments
– LOTS of lag reduction with video displaying and opening up Fantome and Grapeline
– Task manager properly closes apps as it should
– Files no longer duplicate in the file browser
– The password generator now not only generates passwords but the COPY feature works too!
– Grapeline now has buttons to toggle between new route-specific conversations unlocked.
– EMOJI panel updated in Fantome
– Billie’s quiz back button disabled when results page reached, and no longer breaks the quiz’s structure.
– Overall better communication with incorrect inputs. Files tell you if they cannot be opened, apps that require input tell you when input is incorrect.
– Apps have a notification when there are new unread messages/emails
– Fantome has more desktop notifications as well when relevant
– CREDITS ADDED! YAY
– Much more Dollhouse.exe dialogue!

In fact we are already working on additional polish or features we have been wanting to add to the game.

– A revamp to the Tell Net and Objectives systems
– More voicelines, waiting to be implemented…let them in…

And much more planned for the ARG, more that we hope we can work on if oneway has a future!
