Hi folks,
Firstly, thanks very much to everyone who’s played the game already, left reviews and feedback, or engaged with it in any other miscellaneous ways. Seeing people get some joy out of our little creation really is what it’s all about.
That said, our work here is not done. A bunch of issues have emerged that need fixing, and there’s been plenty of interesting design feedback. Morsels hasn’t necessarily sparked joy for everyone who’s played it, and I’m not going to be satisfied until we’ve turned at least some of those frowns upside down. Also I just have a bunch more weird stuff I want to add.
So for now, we’ll keep working hard and try to improve the game from here. On that note, our first post-release patch is now live. Most of these changes are bug fixes and extra polish. We’re aiming to provide another patch next week that will focus more on balance.

• Fix: Lifsel laser collider issues
• Added description popup for Ancient Cheese items
• Fix: evolved Widsel and Smugsel missing footstep sfx
• Changes to Stamina UI to make it more intuitive
• Fix: enemy bullets not disappearing when coming out of mouse holes

• Hoggsel visuals more polished in non-combat scenes
• Fix: boss loot spawning out of bounds
• Fix: dome giving invalid token when using Gosel

• Fix: evolution animation showing incorrect morsel stats

• Liftable items can now be carried through teleporters
• Fix: teleport to safety when stuck behind chomp hazard in Innards
• Fix: no longer possible to get stuck behind ladder in Soft City
• Frog of Frogs scene: audio and polish
*Version number can be seen at the bottom of the screen in the Settings menu. We forgot to change the version to 1.0 for the release build and now it feels weird to do it in a minor patch.
