Hey everyone!

Here’s a fresh update for Doctor Viscera . Thanks for playing, sending feedback, and helping us keep improving the game. Below is everything included in this patch.

Updated Content

Performance Update

We switched the entire project to baked lighting , resulting in noticeably smoother gameplay.

Some of our playtesters reported up to a 60% FPS increase after this change.

Engine Upgrade

Doctor Viscera is now running on Unreal Engine 5.7 .

This update improves AI behavior, increases overall stability, and includes several engine-level bugfixes.

New Language: Spanish

The game now includes full Spanish support .

Menu text, UI, subtitles, and gameplay text are all available in Spanish.

GHOST Mode Cheat

A new experimental cheat is now available.

Type GHOST in the pause menu to enable a freecam mode that can still interact with the environment.

Notes:

• Achievements are disabled while using it
• Still in development and may behave inconsistently
• The only way to exit is returning to the main menu and starting a new run

Great for exploring hidden areas and watching the Doctor’s idle behaviors (like playing piano or reading in the library).

Fixes & Improvements

• Fixed multiple crashes caused by the engine update.
• Adjusted several parts of the map layout and corrected problematic collision setups.
• Applied many small fixes, polish adjustments, and background improvements. More on the way.
