Sanguine : Sanguine EA 1.1.2 Patch

Sanguine EA 1.1.2 Patch

Hello Watchers!

Thank you all so much for joining me on this Early Access journey! Your support means the world — every purchase, review, and bit of feedback directly fuels the next stage of development.

I’ll be using this early funding to bring in new 3D character and enemy models, and I plan to stay fully transparent as Sanguine continues to evolve. You can always follow the roadmap (subject to change) over at

SanguineGame.com

This first post-launch patch focuses on gameplay balance and a few key quality-of-life fixes based on your feedback and the strategies I’ve seen from players so far.

⚖️ Balance Changes:
1️⃣ Knife

• Reduced attack speed
• Slightly increased base damage
• Increased critical damage
• Adjusted hitbox for improved consistency

The knife is meant to be a vital survival tool — but not a powerhouse. Previously, it was a bit too dominant, allowing players to stun-lock most enemies. This patch keeps its satisfying cleave but rebalances speed and damage to make combat feel more tense and deliberate. Use it smartly and aim for the head!

2️⃣ Crossbow

• Damage increased

The crossbow already works as intended — it slows enemies on hit — but it needed more impact. Reloading takes time and every shot counts, so you’ll now feel the reward of landing those precision hits.

3️⃣ Enemies (Corpse Bloods, Crawlers, Variants)

• Reduced movement speeds
• Updated grab state logic
• Removed stun-lock vulnerability

These adjustments aim to make combat encounters more tactical. You can still interrupt attacks with the right timing, but not endlessly. Hit, reposition, and watch your distance — groups are far deadlier than individuals, so plan your moves carefully.

4️⃣ Grenades

• No changes yet, but a rework is coming soon

Grenades are a bit too unpredictable right now, and I want them to feel both reliable and fun. Expect a full overhaul in an upcoming patch.

5️⃣ Character

• Slightly increased Kris’s walking, running, and backward movement speeds

This small boost helps combat feel smoother and gives players a bit more control when retreating or kiting enemies in tight areas.

🌍 Additional Fixes:

• Fixed incorrect translations in some tutorial/localization documents.
• Continued monitoring for any other text or translation issues.

🐛 Known Issues:

• Farm Altar sometimes unusable – rare but confirmed issue; still investigating. Please report details if you encounter it via sanguinefeedback@gmail.com or the Steam Discussions.
• Poison status not clearing properly after certain saves – currently under review and planned for a fix in the next patch.

🔮 What’s Next:

• In-game “News & Roadmap” section in the main menu — so you can stay updated without leaving the game.
• Bonus Early Access end-game content – a small, replayable side experience built from existing assets, designed to add variety and challenge. More info soon!

Thank you again to everyone who’s shared clips, bug reports, and reviews — your insights directly shape how Sanguine grows. Keep surviving out there, and remember: the Bloods are always watching.
