A chaotic escape with destructible environments

CUFFBUST is a prison escape game where players escape alone or cooperatively after a security system malfunction. The environments are destructible: you can break down doors, ventilation ducts, or walls with explosives. You have the choice between a stealthy approach, like digging a tunnel with a spoon, or a more direct method. Interactivity is at the heart of the game, allowing you to check cameras to locate guards, hack the intercom to communicate or destroy air defenses for an airborne escape. Players have access to a huge selection of tools, from frying pans and spoons, to access cards, to stolen weapons and riot shields.

Collaboration, betrayal and personalization

Lobbies can accommodate up to 10 players, encouraging a variety of play styles. Players can collaborate or hinder each other, or even betray each other to escape solo. The game offers a multitude of possible routes and escape systems. Communication is facilitated by an ultra-realistic proximity chat with dynamic reverb and directional audio. CUFFBUST includes a robust Workshop-compatible map editor, allowing you to create and test prisons, races, or arenas. There are also hundreds of free skins available to customize your criminal on the run. Gerjohntons, who do not like players, are present and can be eliminated.
