Today, we’re excited to announce that the FrostBound Steam Workshop is officially live! Create your own version of FrostBound, from gameplay mechanics to custom cards, the choice is yours! You can access the Steam Workshop directly through Steam or via the « Workshop » option in the game’s main menu to create, download, and install mods.
To celebrate the launch of the Workshop and encourage even more amazing community creations, we’re kicking off the first FrostBound Steam Workshop Mod Contest!
From July 3, 2026 to August 10, 2026, all mods uploaded to the Steam Workshop will compete based on their total subscriber count. The most popular creations will receive exciting rewards!

🥇 1st Prize (1 Winner): ¥600
Gift Card or a $50 Steam Gift Card
🥈 2nd Prize (2 Winners): ¥300
Gift Card or a $25 Steam Gift Card each
🥉 3rd Prize (3 Winners): ¥100
Gift Card or a $10 Steam Gift Card each
🎁 Participation Prize (10 Winners): ¥50
Gift Card or a $5 Steam Gift Card each (Randomly selected from all non-winning entries)
📌 Rules
AI-assisted content is allowed. You’re welcome to use AI tools to help create or design your mods.
Each individual mod can receive only one prize, but creators may win multiple prizes by submitting multiple mods.
If two or more mods have the same number of subscribers, the winner will be determined by the number of likes.
Winners will be announced shortly after the event ends, and prizes will be distributed via direct message through our Mod Creator community group.
