Wildcard Competitive Update – 1v1 Launch Tomorrow

Big update going live tomorrow.

Wildcard is officially moving from 2v2 → 1v1 as our primary competitive format .

Here’s everything changing:

1v1 Becomes Core Competitive Mode

Why?

• Clearer outcomes
• Improve pacing and match flow
• More skill expression
• No teammate dependency
• Stronger competitive integrity

Wildcard is about champion mastery — 1v1 makes that the focus.

Ranked Schedule Update

Ranked will now run:

Tuesday – Saturday
2PM – 10PM Eastern

Consolidated windows mean:

• Better matchmaking
• Shorter queues
• Higher competitive density

Free Daily Ranked Games

Starting tomorrow:

Everyone gets 10 free ranked games per day.
