Our first patch of 2026 is live.
Fixes, tweaks, and improvements are the focus of this patch – as always thanks for all your feedback.

Techniques/Trinkets
• Shocking Tale: Player can no longer get affected by the technique
• Performer: Now triggers between boss phases
• Retreat+: Fix instances of the technique affecting multiple enemies
• Mindblast: The damages is now properly counted as player damages
• See no Evil+: Fix instances of the technique procing on other instances than Friend Fire
• Diving Fang+: When you’re next to the wall, you can no longer trigger the bounce
• Treason: Change text display to avoid confusion
• Armor of Vanity: Inverted normal and upgrade version
• Heaven or Hell: Fixed order so that it procs before Negate Death
• Ashes of Life: Will now be triggered if the Player or VIP dies or falls off the level
• Incense of Wealth: Increased price from 15 to 20 gold
• Candy box: Reduced price from 50 to 40 goldBoth Fans has been reduced from 15 to 5 gold (with the rework of the reshuffle cost their value has been drastically diminished).
• Schism: Reduced drop requirement making it easier to drop (needed 50 gold)
• Mirage Block: is now limited to Leaf (from Onya Master encounter) and fix the drop issue
• Armor Sabotage: Will now properly remove armor from the main character as well
• Battle Remnants:Will now work between wavesWill now even if you finish the fight with a weaponUpgrade has been fixed to work properlyWill no longer equip the Explosive crates
• *Wild Cat+: Changed from When you {jump} over a foe: to When you {jump} over a foe who has no {resource(s)}:
• Flying Claw+: Changed from *When you hit a foe with Flying Claw: They get {projection[Projected]}. to When you hit a foe with Flying Claw: {jump} forward
• Mirage Block+: Added Your {backAttack(s)} inflict +1 damage.
• Iron Breath: Added Once per fight in the normal and upgraded version
• Smelly dash+: Changed from They take 2 damages to They lose their {armorHp} and take 1 damage.
• Blood Pact: Changed from You can no longer heal during fights. to You can no longer heal in brawls.
• Fist of Fury+: Removed the ignore Block.
• Dreamcatcher: Change from *One use. When you get defeated in a fight: Switch to {foresight}. to One use. When you get defeated in a fight: Restart the fight.
• Rust Plagues: Will no longer destroy explosive crates.
• Bat Strike: Fixed text effect
• Jungle Snack: Now works properly with Baboonrang
• Abacus: Works every Boss waves
• Bully+: Now properly work against dodging foes.
Characters
• Foe Onya: No longer spawn clones when dead
• Foe Talgun: Added a simple solo phase:Talgun gains a dodgeTalgun is able to attack/counter attack after dodge.
• Foe Thundermonk: Rework solo phase and waves:In solo phase the Thundermonk is able to redo the axe kick after getting hit (repeatable)Replaced one of the normal drunk with support charactersReplaced the brawler with either an elite brawler or a lancer
• Foe Big Bully: can no longer start charging in pre-fight phase.
General Fixes/Changes
• New Game: The Overwrite Save Data prompt now defaults to “No”, reducing the chance of accidental data loss.
• SubObjectives Do friendly fire: Fix instances of Friendly Fire getting validated by pure damages
• Reshuffle Technique RewardsWhen reshuffling from a limited technique pool, some previous options will carry over to ensure the number of options remains consistentReshuffle cost now increases with each use, up to a maximum cap.
• Teleporting: Fixed bug where an already dodged hitbox cannot hit the character even after the character teleports
• Lotus Flower: Fixed bug where using Lotus Flower to continue does not reset the amount of gold
• Effect Order: Fixed the interaction between Techniques that cancel the hit and Techniques that add damage would bypass armor
• Gunner Elite: Fixed the sprite’s color in the codex
• Depart Cutscene: Fixed bug where the SFX from the cutscene accessing the Moongate still continues into the Menu even when the cutscene is skipped
• Invincibility: Codex description has been updated to replace usage of White health bar, to Gold to reflect the change.
