PATCH NOTES 9 JAN 2026 – NEW JOB BOARD QUESTS + MORE CRITTERLING DROPS

Hey everyone, hope you all had a great holiday season.
Christmas was a little strange but fun for me this year since I’m based in South Africa. It’s full summer here, so instead of a snowy Santa, we get a surfing Santa and beach weather instead.

Alright, on to the update!

Patch Notes – Content & Stability Update

This update focuses on expanding early game structure and fixing several progression blocking issues.

New

• Added 12 new Job Board quests. The original goal was 20, but the holidays slowed things down a bit. More quests are actively in development.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where Critterling drops were not triggering correctly. You should now see more item drops and more poop appearing as intended.
• Fixed a bug where Fenna’s Day 7 house decoration quest could not be completed.
• Fixed an issue where Honeycomb was not producing honey.
• Potential fix for Fenna remaining on the Job Board after completing “Meet the Villagers”.A validation check now runs after the quest completes.If Fenna still does not leave the Job Board, please restart the game and she should resume normal behavior.

What’s Next

The next update will focus heavily on adding more quests , which is now my top priority.

In parallel, I have begun work toward a Nintendo Switch port . I have successfully ordered a Switch dev kit, which is required for the porting process, and I am currently awaiting shipment from Nintendo.
