The second Wildcard Preseason Open is happening TODAY (Dec 26) with a prize pool of up to $2,500 .

• This is part of preseason testing as we sharpen the system ahead of the Official Wildcard Tournaments Launch on Jan 7.

Today’s Tournament Update Highlights

Based directly on player behavior and tournament data from last week, today’s tournament includes key changes designed to improve fairness, clarity, and competitiveness:

Highlights

Performance-Per-Minute Scoring

• Rewards efficiency + consistency instead of match length
• Full stat-weight overhaul
• Win bonus now includes win streak scaling
• Removes “optimal end timing” strategies
• We will still be monitoring for collusion and match fixing

ELO-Based Matchmaking

• Matchmaking starts by ELO
• Slightly longer queues
• Much better match quality and fairer scoring opportunities

Spawner Summon Limits

• Spawner summons spawn less per activation
• Prevents runaway board states while keeping summon identity intact

Full Scoring Transparency

• Scorecards show exact stat values
• Hover standings to see point breakdown per match
• No more guessing it’s all visible

⚖️ Fair Play Reminder

We will continue to monitor for collusion, match fixing, and exploitative behavior. Matches may be invalidated at the organizer’s discretion.
