It’s been just over 24h since the game released, thank you everyone for playing!

We think the launch has gone pretty well!

Here are notes for the first patch, all stemming from feedback from you:

• Version 1.0.1A community member mentioned that the 0.4.x versioning scheme didn’t look like the game was finished, so we bumped it to 1.0.1 🙂
• Double Clicking to activate Swift Bloom felt bad to some people as they were already clicking a lot to activate Eir’s Touch. We made two changes to make this feel better. Firstly: A hidden way of activating the previously double clicked spell is now on Middle Mouse. Secondly: The settings now has a toggle to disable double clicking.
• Swift Bloom will now interrupt any current cast properly. Another thing about Swift Bloom is that it used to be able to be cast and automatically interrupt any current cast, we somehow broke that between the demo build and the release build of the game. This is now fixed.
• Shielding now properly cancels any running cast. Shielding while casting a longer running spell would finish the cast immediately and then also applying shield. A bit overpowered. Now it properly cancels the current cast.
• Replaying finished levels now plays the same as the first time. When you were returning to a level you already had cleared you were playing an endless version of the level that grew stronger with each wave. This ended up confusing some players who felt that upgrading didn’t make them stronger. Hopefully this is less convoluted. If you want a similar endless experience you can play in The Grove and compete on the leaderboards!
• Video settings.We now have Window, Fullscreen Window and Exclusive Full Screen modes available in the settings. There is also a toggle for VSync.
